This sofa called KONA is the first piece of soft furniture by the Botswana based furniture maker Mabeo. 

It is an asymmetrical Sofa with curved and linear shapes, delicately balanced on thin metal supports. The sofa basis is an idea of replacing the traditional padded backrest with corrugated leather, a material that has been widely used traditionally in Botswana. The leather is supported by a green metal structure attached to a panga panga wood frame. The mattress is upholstered with felted wool.
